DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS

OVERVIEW

This page explains how Facebook and Instagram users can request deletion of their data that has been processed through LIVEXION TECH PROVIDER’s services on behalf of our retail clients.

WHO THIS APPLIES TO

If you are a Facebook or Instagram user who:

• Commented on a retail business’s Facebook or Instagram Page or Live stream
• Interacted with a business that uses Livexion’s integration services
• Had your public profile information (name, picture) accessed through our platform

You have the right to request deletion of your data.

ABOUT LIVEXION

LIVEXION TECH PROVIDER provides Meta Platform (Facebook and Instagram)
API integration services for retail businesses. We process data on behalf of our
clients to help them manage their live commerce operations.

When you interact with our clients’ Facebook or Instagram Pages, your public
information may be processed through systems we implement and maintain.

WHAT DATA MAY BE STORED

When you interact with our clients’ Facebook or Instagram Pages or Live streams,
the following data may be processed:

• Your Facebook/Instagram username
• Your public profile picture
• Your comments on posts or live streams
• Your public Facebook/Instagram User ID
• Timestamp of your interactions
• Any order information you provided in comments (product, quantity, etc.)

WHERE YOUR DATA IS STORED

Your data may be stored in:

1. OUR SYSTEMS
Data processed through our technical platforms on behalf of our clients.

2. OUR CLIENTS’ SYSTEMS
Data in our clients’ e-commerce systems, order databases, and CRM platforms.

3. META PLATFORMS
Original data on Facebook and Instagram’s own servers.

HOW TO REQUEST DATA DELETION

You have multiple options to request deletion of your data:

METHOD 1: EMAIL REQUEST TO LIVEXION

Send an email to: service@livexion.com

SUBJECT: Data Deletion Request

INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
• Your Facebook/Instagram username
• Your Facebook User ID (if known – see how to find it below)
• The retail business page you interacted with
• Approximate date(s) of interaction
• Brief description of your interaction (e.g., “commented on live stream”, “placed order”)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm completion via email.

METHOD 2: CONTACT THE RETAIL BUSINESS DIRECTLY

Since the retail business is the primary data controller, you can also contact
them directly to request deletion of your data from their systems. They will
coordinate with us to ensure complete deletion.

METHOD 3: FACEBOOK DATA DELETION CALLBACK

If you delete data through Facebook’s own data management tools, we may
automatically receive and process your deletion request through Facebook’s
deletion callback system.

METHOD 4: GENERAL DATA SUBJECT REQUEST

You can submit a formal data subject request under applicable data protection
laws (GDPR, PDPA, etc.) by emailing service@livexion.com with:

• Your identity verification
• Specific data you want deleted
• Your legal basis for the request (if applicable)

HOW TO FIND YOUR FACEBOOK USER ID

If you need to find your Facebook User ID:

1. Go to your Facebook profile
2. Click on your profile picture or name
3. Look at the URL in your browser
4. Your User ID is the number in the URL (e.g., facebook.com/[YourUserID])

OR

Use this tool: Go to facebook.com, click your profile, and look at the page source
for “userID” or search online for “find my Facebook user ID”

WHAT GETS DELETED

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will:

✓ Delete your profile information from our technical systems
✓ Remove your comments and interactions from our client dashboards
✓ Delete associated order records from our platforms
✓ Notify our client of the deletion request so they can delete from their systems
✓ Anonymize any data that must be retained for legal compliance

COMPLETE DELETION INCLUDES:
• Your name and username
• Your profile picture
• Your comments and messages
• Your User ID
• Associated order data (unless legally required to retain)
• Any cached or archived copies in our systems

WHAT MAY BE RETAINED

Some data may be retained if required by:

1. LEGAL OBLIGATIONS
• Accounting and tax records (typically 7 years)
• Legal dispute records
• Fraud prevention and security purposes

2. CLIENT’S LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
• Our clients may need to retain order records for their own legal compliance
• Financial records for accounting and auditing
• Records required by consumer protection laws

3. BACKUP RETENTION
• Data in system backups will be deleted according to backup retention cycles
(typically 90 days)

RETAINED DATA WILL BE:
• Anonymized or pseudonymized where possible
• Restricted from further processing
• Deleted once retention period expires

PROCESSING TIMELINE

REQUEST TYPE → PROCESSING TIME:

• Email requests: Within 30 days
• Facebook deletion callback: Within 48 hours
• Complex requests requiring verification: Up to 45 days
• Client coordination required: Up to 60 days

WHAT HAPPENS DURING PROCESSING:

1. We receive and log your request
2. We verify your identity (if necessary)
3. We locate your data across our systems
4. We delete data from our platforms
5. We notify our client to delete from their systems
6. We confirm completion and send you confirmation

VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may need
to verify your identity before processing your request.

WE MAY ASK FOR:
• Additional identifying information
• Proof that you control the Facebook/Instagram account
• Details about your specific interactions
• Answers to security questions

VERIFICATION PROTECTS:
• Your privacy (prevents others from deleting your data without authorization)
• Data integrity (ensures we delete the correct data)
• Legal compliance (verifies requests are legitimate)

CONFIRMATION

After processing your deletion request, you will receive:

• Email confirmation that deletion is complete
• Summary of what data was deleted
• Information about any retained data and why
• Reference number for your request (for future follow-up)

DELETION FROM FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM

IMPORTANT: Deletion from our systems does not automatically delete data from
Facebook and Instagram’s own servers.

TO DELETE FROM FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM:
• Use Facebook’s own data management and deletion tools
• Go to Settings > Privacy > Your Facebook Information > Delete Your Information
• For Instagram: Settings > Security > Access Data > Delete Account or Data

YOUR OTHER DATA RIGHTS

Beyond deletion, you also have the right to:

✓ ACCESS: Request a copy of your data we have processed
✓ CORRECTION: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
✓ OBJECTION: Object to our processing of your data
✓ RESTRICTION: Request restriction of how your data is processed
✓ PORTABILITY: Request your data in a portable format (where applicable)

COMPLAINTS AND APPEALS

IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED:

2. FILE A COMPLAINT WITH REGULATORY AUTHORITY
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority:
• Malaysia: Personal Data Protection Department
• EU: Your national supervisory authority
• Other jurisdictions: Your local data protection regulator

3. APPEAL PROCESS
If your request is denied or you’re unsatisfied with the response:
• Request a detailed explanation via privacy@livexion.com
• Ask for review by our Data Protection Officer
• Escalate to regulatory authorities if needed

IMPORTANT NOTES

⚠️ PERMANENT ACTION
Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you want to proceed
before submitting a request.

⚠️ SERVICE IMPACT
If you have pending orders with our clients, deletion may affect order fulfillment
or customer service.

⚠️ FUTURE INTERACTIONS
If you interact with our clients’ Pages again in the future, new data will be
collected unless you opt out.

⚠️ CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
Our clients (retail businesses) are the data controllers and have their own
privacy policies and retention requirements.

⚠️ SCOPE LIMITATION
We can only delete data from systems we control. We cannot delete data from:
• Facebook/Instagram’s own servers (use their tools)
• Third-party systems not under our control
• Public archives or caches (like web archives)
